FAQ

Where do I get the software?

Personal and Enterprise use the same release — agent, desktop app, and deploy bundle from GitHub Releases. Enterprise adds a WV_LICENSE key for unlimited hosts and extended SIEM retention.

How is the limit enforced?

The server counts unique hostnames. Personal tier allows one. Enterprise accepts a license key that removes the cap.

Do I pay per agent?

Effectively yes on Personal (1 agent/host). Enterprise is unlimited hosts under one license.

Is there a hosted cloud version?

Not in v1.0. You deploy with Docker on your own server/VPS.

What happens when my enterprise license expires?

The server falls back to Personal tier behavior (1 host); existing data remains, new hosts may be blocked.

Personal vs Enterprise feature gap?

Today the main enforced differences are host count and SIEM retention (7 vs 90 days). Core monitoring and SIEM are on both tiers.

Enterprise checkout is powered by Stripe. Download the release immediately; your WV_LICENSE key is issued by email after payment (manual for v1.0).
